Miranda Haywood-Curry- Director for the School of Rockford Ballet - 3 years

Ms. Miranda is the Executive Director, Choreographer, Teacher, & Dancer for the School of Rockford Ballet located in Rockford, MI and Flat River Dance Company located in the city of Greenville.  Miranda originally is a native of Ada, MI.  She received her dance training on scholarship with the Grand Rapids Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, & School of American Ballet in New York City, NY. As a senior in high school, she joined Grand Rapids Ballet as a paid apprentice with the company.  She has performed professionally with Charlotte Ballet (in North Carolina), Pacific Northwest Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet and the Moving Poets Theatre of Dance. She has also been a guest artist for Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey and Ablemarle Academy of Dance where she was the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker.  Mrs. Curry was the first dance team coach for Providence Day High School (Charlotte, NC) in 2003. Mrs. Curry served as a Grand Valley State University professor of ballroom, ballet, jazz, modern, and stretch and tone from 2011-2015. Since 1998, she has worked on the faculty for many of North Carolina and Michigan's dance schools; they include the school of the North Carolina Dance Theatre, Charlotte School of Ballet, Community School of the Arts, Charlotte City Ballet, Miller Street Dance Academy, Weir Dancin', Las Americas, Turning Pointe School of Dance and Classic Pointe.  

Alex Campbell- Dance Instructor for the School of Rockford Ballet - 2 years

Ms. Campbell is a sophomore at Grand Valley State University majoring in Dance. She is also studiyng for her minor in hospitality and tourism. Ms. Alex has trained with Flat River Dance Company located in Greenvile, MI for  the past seven years in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Pointe, Partnering, and Hip Hop.  Ms. Alex has been a Pre Ballet Teacher Assistant for four years and has been and dance instructor for the past year at Flat River Dance Company. She has also taught Ballet, Tap, and Partnering for Flat River Dance Company.  Some of her notable roles while dancing with Flat River Dance Company have been the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, and  Mother Bunny in Good Night Moon. 

Grace Phillips - Dance Instructor for School of Rockford Ballet - 1 year

Ms. Phillips will be a Sophomore at Greenville High School. She made the Varsity Dance Team for the second year in a row. Her hobbies are dancing, babysitting, drawing, running, swimming, and baking. She's been an pre ballet assistant for 4 years for Flat River Dance Company and an instructor for the School of Rockford Ballet.
